About Our

Private Tours

Did you know that a private departure on one of our suggested itineraries may be more accessible than you think? Private departures offer all the value and convenience of escorted small group tours, but with flexibility for you to travel when you want, and with whom you want.

We know that some travelers wish to travel with a select group of people – friends, families, or affinity groups with a special interest. Some travelers may be available to travel only during certain times of the year. Or, they may be seeking more independence and flexibility than what is offered on other tour operators’ tours series. Our private group tours offer excellent value and convenience.

All the arrangements are made for a carefully curated itinerary with specially selected accommodations and experiences. Our suggested itineraries, accommodations, meals, entrance fees and experiences remain the same and you’ll be travelling with one of our expert local English-speaking guides. Private tours are an excellent option for honeymooners, who may wish to celebrate their nuptials together rather than with new friends. Families wishing to reconnect with each other on their visit to Japan also find our private departures an opportunity to do so.

Private departures also offer a wonderful opportunity to mark life’s milestones together with loved ones – birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, and celebrations. Our special interest tour suggestions offer opportunities for clubs, social associations, alumni travel groups, and hobbyists to see the expression of their interests in Japan – showing similarities and differences in these themes between cultures. Experience Japanese culture in depth on an expertly planned itinerary.

You may find that the luxury of private travel is more affordable than you think, and if you are travelling with a large group, you may find the price to be very moderate indeed. Contact us today and we would be delighted to advise pricing and seek the best time for your travels so we can arrange your private departure – allowing you to relax and enjoy hassle-free private group travel.

We carefully select our guides, ensuring not only that they are qualified to guide, but that they do so in an interesting and engaging manner, and that they are dedicated to fostering an exceptional traveling experience. Your tour guide shares their deep insights into Japanese history and culture, as well as daily life in Japan. Your guides will also assist in connecting you with the local people, acting as a bridge between cultures, to provide you with a special experience of Japan.
