Tourcrafters Japan is a boutique tour operator and destination management company based in Osaka, Japan. We started with a very simple mission – to design and operate Japan’s most inspiring adventures, truly more than vacations. We weave together a tapestry of destinations, not just popular ‘must-see’ sights, but more importantly the hidden corners of this beautiful archipelago that you might otherwise miss, that provide unique perspectives on this rich and diverse land. Our itineraries are handcrafted and we carefully select every component of our tours. Our ultimate goal is to provide you and your clients with an enriching experience through learning, understanding and appreciating Japan’s culture, nature and people while providing a positive impact on local communities.

We create tours of Japan that are elevated beyond a series of destinations linked together by combining these with the discovery of lesser-known rural areas of the country with charm and by fostering interaction between people through a foundation in community-based tourism.

Tourcrafters Japan tours are ‘imperfectly perfect’. We create a setting where under the concept of ichi-go ichi-e each connection is unique. All are participants – both local people and travellers – so connections are not pre-packaged scripted tourist moments, they allow for a natural flow of connection and authentic interaction.
